An Easter mode for your site
A spring mode visitors turn on with an egg button. The highlight is an egg hunt: decorated eggs are hidden on different pages, a counter shows progress, and whoever finds them all gets your greeting or promo code. It is a game that gets people to browse the site.

What it does
Egg hunt
Eggs hide near the edges of blocks on different pages. Progress is saved, and finding them all brings a greeting, a promo code and a button.
Apple blossom
Petals fall and swirl; mouse movement adds wind.
A willow branch
Catkins in the corner of the first screen sway with the wind and the cursor.
A pysanka ornament
“Wolf teeth” and rhombuses as a band under the first screen.
Easter date by itself
Eastern or Western Easter, calculated for every year. How many days before and after is up to you.
Analytics events
Turning the mode on, eggs found, the click on the promo: events in Google Analytics.

Questions
How do visitors learn about the game?
Once it is on, a hint says how many eggs are hidden, and a counter appears next to the button.
Can I give a discount for finding all eggs?
Yes: set a promo code and a link in the settings and they appear in the reward window with a “Copy” button.
When does the mode appear?
By default 14 days before Easter and a week after. The plugin calculates the date itself every year.
