Privacy and cookie policy
Version of 17 October 2026
This policy explains what data I receive when you visit symonenko.com or write to me, why it’s needed and how you can control it. It has been drawn up in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who processes the data
Yaroslav Symonenko, registered sole proprietor, Ukraine. For any questions about your data, write to mail@symonenko.com.
2. What data I receive
What you send yourself
There are no forms on this website. If you write to me on Telegram, Viber, WhatsApp or by e-mail, or call me, I receive what you share: your name, contact details, company name, a description of the task and any files you send.
Technical data
The hosting server automatically logs the IP address, browser type, time and URL of each request. This is needed to run and protect the website.
Analytics
The website uses Google Analytics via Google Site Kit and Google Tag Manager. They show which pages are visited and where visitors come from, in anonymised form. Analytics cookies are set only after you consent in the banner. Without consent, Google receives only anonymised cookieless signals (Google Consent Mode).
3. Why, and on what legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and fulfil our agreements — basis: your request and the contract.
- To keep the website running and secure — basis: legitimate interest.
- To analyse traffic in order to improve the website — basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
I don’t sell data, don’t use it for mailings without your consent and don’t make automated decisions based on it.
4. Who else has access
- The hosting provider whose servers run the website.
- Google — for analytics. Data may be processed outside Ukraine and the EU under Google’s terms.
- The messengers and e-mail services you use — under their own rules.
5. How long data is kept
- Correspondence — for as long as we’re in contact or working together, and up to three years afterwards unless the law requires otherwise.
- Server logs — according to the hosting settings, usually a few weeks.
- Analytics — no longer than 14 months.
6. Your rights
You can find out what data of yours I hold, correct or delete it, restrict or object to its processing, withdraw your consent and receive your data in a convenient format. To do so, write to mail@symonenko.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or with the data protection supervisory authority in your EU country.
